More Adorable Chocolate Boxes

Today I want to show some more creation, that I didn't show on my blog yet.                        * Vandaag wil ik nog enkele werkjes tonen die ik nog niet op mijn blog liet zien.

First of all, I would like to show you another chocolate box that is a little more in the Christmas spirit. I made this box for Carlijn Design. Here you can find more information about how I made it and here about the products I used specifically on this box here.                        * Allereerst toon ik graag nog een doosje dat nog iets meer in de kerstsfeer zit. Dit chocolade doosje maakte ik voor Carlijn Design. Je kan hier meer informatie vinden van hoe ik het maakte en hier over de producten die ik specifiek op dit doosje gebruikte.

Last Minute Christmas and New Year Gift or Decoration Idea’s

I have some great ideas for you.                         * Hallo, ik ben vandaag op de Printable Cuttable Creatables-blog. For this blog post I’m using “It’s Beginning to Taste a Lot Like Christmas”, “Life is Short Lick the Spoon”, “Kiss Me at Midnight” and “Happy New Year (free)” SVG File.                         * Voor deze blogpost gebruik ik de SVG-bestanden “It’s Beginning to Taste a Lot Like Christmas”, “Life is Short Lick the Spoon”, “Kiss Me at Midnight” en “Happy New Year (free)".

What I like to do is using an oven mitt to decorate the kitchen.                        * Wat ik graag doe, is een ovenwant gebruiken om de keuken te versieren.

They are also cute to put some gifts in if you have a baker in the family.                        * Ze zijn ook leuk om wat cadeautjes in te doen als je een bakker in de familie hebt.

If you use the oven mitt as a gift, it’s also fun to fill it with a decorative spoon.                        * Als je de ovenwant als cadeau gebruikt, is het ook leuk om hem te vullen met een decoratieve lepel.

Let’s move on to the New Year idea’s. I found this pretty shaker glass/mug in a dollar store. I was Immediately sold!                        * Laten we verder gaan met de nieuwjaarsideeën. Ik vond dit mooie schudglas/mok in de Action. Ik was meteen verkocht!

What could be better that a New Year’s wish on that mug? You can fill the mug with snacks or even a gift card. I’m sure it will be a success anyway.                        * Wat is er mooier dan een nieuwjaarswens op de mok te te plaatsen? Je kunt de mok vullen met snacks of zelfs een cadeaubon. Ik weet zeker dat het in ieder geval een succes wordt.

Sometimes you can also buy cute soaps during celebrations. That’s how I found these soap stars/Christmas ornaments.                        * Soms kun je tijdens feesten ook leuke zeepjes kopen. Zo vond ik deze zeepsterren/kerstbal.

These small, cute gadgets are really great as gifts for your colleague’s. They can even replace a card.                        * Deze kleine, schattige gadgets zijn echt leuk als cadeau voor je collega's. Ze kunnen zelfs een kaart vervangen.

Pantone Color of the Year: Very Peri

Hello all! Also today I have one blog post ready for you from Jocelijne Design. Today I made a card with the Pantone color of the year.                * Hallo allemaal! Ook vandaag heb ik voor jullie ene blog post klaar staan van Jocelijne Design. Vandaag maakte ik een kaartje met de Pantone kleur van het jaar.

Every year Pantone releases a color of the year. This year the Very Peri is a blue color. For my card I mimicked the color with Distress ink.                * Elk jaar brengt Pantone een kleur van het jaar uit. Dit jaar is het Very Peri een blauw paarse kleur. Voor mijn kaartje bootste ik de kleur na met Distress inkt.

I liked the purple color passenger at a night scene. So I finished my card with the Happy Smiles die set.                * De paarse kleur vond ik mooi passen bij een nacht tafereeltje. Ik maakte mijn kaartje dus af met de Happy Smiles snijmallen set.



 

NND Release: June 2021 - Newton’s 4th of July, Buns Out and Fireworks Stencil

Welcome to the first day of the Newton's Nook Designs release. This time it's a big release and I had a blast creating a lot of cards; so let's get started...                         * Welkom op de eerste dag van de release van Newton's Nook Designs. Deze keer is het een grote release en ik vond het geweldig om veel kaarten te maken; dus laten we beginnen...

First of all we have this "Newton's 4th of July" 4x6 stamp set and coordinating dies.                         * Allereerst hebben we deze "Newton's 4th of July" 4x6 stempelset en bijpassende stansen.

I know it's obviously a 4th of July stamp set, nut since I live in Belgium I don't celebrate that holiday. Still I'm in love with this set and I'm sure I will use it a lot. It's just perfect for a birthday, any national holiday or even New Year!                         * Het is duidelijk een stempel set voor de '4'th of juli', maar aangezien ik in België woon, vier ik die feestdag niet. Toch ben ik verliefd op deze set en ik weet zeker dat ik hem veel zal gebruiken. Het is gewoon perfect voor een verjaardag, eender welke nationale feestdag of zelfs Nieuwjaar!

I made this festive card with the exciting Newton sparkling true the night with his fire cracks. As you see, this cute card is good for any occasion!                         * Ik maakte deze feestelijke kaart met de Newton die in de nacht rondhuppelt met vuurwerkstokjes. Zoals je ziet, is deze schattige kaart goed voor elke gelegenheid!

We continue with the fireworks theme. Next we have the fun "Fireworks" Stencil.                         * We gaan verder met het vuurwerk thema. Vervolgens hebben we de leuke "Vuurwerk" Stencil.

You can see the stencil in the background. For this I used silver Glitz Glitter Gel. Perfect for a sparkling firework sky.                         * Je kunt de stencil op de achtergrond zien. Hiervoor heb ik zilveren Glitz Glitter Gel gebruikt. Perfect voor een sprankelende vuurwerkhemel.

On this card I used a lot of colors perfect for the 4th of July, but still I'm planning to give it at the end of the year for New Year or a boy's birthday.                         * Op deze kaart heb ik veel kleuren gebruikt die perfect zijn voor 4 juli, maar ik ben nog steeds van plan om deze aan het einde van het jaar weg te geven voor nieuwjaar of de verjaardag van een jongen.

The third and last item of today's reveal is the "Buns Out" stamps and coordinating dies. It's a cute 2x3 stamp set, perfect for fast food lovers!                         * Het derde en laatste item van de onthulling van vandaag is de "Buns Out" stempel en coördinerende snijmal. Het is een schattige 2x3 stempel set, perfect voor liefhebbers van fastfood!

This is the cutest burger I've ever seen.                         * Dit de schattigste burger is die ik ooit heb gezien.

Also this card I'm going to use for a boy's birthday. I'm sure the person I will give this to, will love it.                         * Ik ga deze kaart ook gebruiken voor de verjaardag van een jongen. Ik weet zeker dat de persoon aan wie ik dit zal geven er dol op zal zijn.

Slimline Birthday/New Years Card

I took a little winter break, but as of today I am back with a blog post for Newton's Nook Design.                      * Ik heb even een winter pauze genomen, maar vanaf vandaag ben ik weer helemaal terug met een blogpost voor Newton's Nook Design.

Below I show you step by step how I made this card:                     * Hieronder laat ik je stap voor stap zien hoe ik deze kaart heb gemaakt:

Step 1: First I did cut out the biggest frame from the slimline "Frames and Portholes". Next I did color a rectangle that fits in the frame with orange and yellow Distress Ink. The Bubbly Stencil gave me the opportunity to make a suited background.                     * Stap 1: Eerst heb ik het grootste frame uit de slimline "Frames and Portholes" uitgesneden. Vervolgens kleurde ik een rechthoek, die in het frame past, in met oranje en gele Distress Ink. De Bubbly Stencil gaf mij de mogelijkheid om een passende achtergrond te maken.

Step 2: The illustrations where colored with Copic Markers:                      * Stap 2: De illustraties zijn ingekleurd met Copic Markers:

Cat/Poes: W5, W3, W2, W0 & T7, E35

Belly Cat/Buik poes: E33, E53, E52, E50, R22, R21 en R00

Martini/Martini: Y35, Y08, Y06, Y02

Glass/glas: BG13, BG11, BG10

Olive/Olijf: BG96, G99, G94, YG63

Chocolate/Chocolade: E79, E59, E57 & E35, E33, E31

Confetti/Confetti: RV06, RV04, RV02

Step 3: The last step was to cut out the word Cheers with the Cocktail mixer die set from pink glitter paper and white heat embossed the rest of the sentiment.                     * Stap 3: De laatste stap was om het woord Cheers met de cocktailmixer die set uit roze glitterpapier te knippen en de rest van het zin met witte embossing poeder te stempelen.

I am happy with the result of this slimline card. Hopefully it will be the start of a fun and creative year.                     * Ik ben blij met het resultaat van deze slimline card. Hopelijk is het de start van een leuk en creatief jaar.
