Fancy Fur Cards

Hi friends, today I'm here with you for the collaboration week between ThermOWeb and Ink Road Stamps! For this blog post I had a lot of fun with the flock, let me show you how...                     * Hallo vrienden, vandaag ben ik hier om de samenwerkingsweek tussen ThermOWeb en Ink Road Stamps te vieren! As you are new to ThermOWeb you maybe don't know what flock is. Flock is a new product from ThermOWeb that gives your items a soft/furry feeling. You can use it with Deco Foam Foil or Deco Foil Transfer Gel. The flock comes in different vibrant colors. The first card is this orange card using the "Orange Glow" flock.                     * Als ThermOWeb nieuw voor je is, weet je misschien niet wat een flock is. Flock is een nieuw product van ThermOWeb dat je items een zacht / harig gevoel geeft. Je kunt het gebruiken met Deco Foil Foam of Deco Foil Transfer Gel. De flock komt in verschillende levendige kleuren. De eerste kaart is deze oranje kaart met natuurlijk "Orange Glow flock.

I will explain how I created this orange card, the other card is created the same way. I just used different items on the second card. Below you can find a picture tutorial with step by step explanation:                     * Ik zal je hieronder kort uitleggen hoe ik deze oranje kaart heb gemaakt, de andere kaart is op dezelfde manier gemaakt. Ik heb enkel andere items op de tweede kaart gebruikt. Hieronder vind je een tutorial met stap voor stap een uitleg:

1. Before you can add the flock, you need to create the background. I picked different yellow Distress Inks en blended the colors together. After that I sprinkled water, white ink and gold ink on top of the base.                     * 1. Voordat je de flock kan toevoegen, moet je de achtergrond voorbereiden. Ik koos verschillende gele Distress Inks en mengde de kleuren met elkaar. Daarna sprenkelde ik water, witte inkt en goudkleurige inkt bovenop de basis.

2. The next step is to apply Transfer Gel. To do that I used the Crazy Daisy - Stampnstencil stencil and the Stencil Pal. After that, you remove the stencil, clean all the tools and wait till the gel is dry. You can see it very well when it's dry, because the gel becomes translucent.                     * 2. De volgende stap is Transfer Gel smeren. Om dat te doen gebruikte ik de Crazy Daisy - Stampnstencil stencil en de Stencil Pal. Vervolgens verwijder je het sjabloon, reinig je alle gereedschappen en wacht je tot de gel droog is. Je kunt het heel goed zien als het droog is, omdat de gel doorschijnend wordt.

3. To get the flock texture, you put the Flock Transfer Sheet with the colored side facing the dried gel. Put the sandwich in a folded parchment paper and push it into your laminator.                     * 3. Om de flock-textuur te krijgen, plaats je het Flock Transfer Sheet met de gekleurde kant naar de gedroogde gel toe. Leg de sandwich in een gevouwen bakpapier en duw het in je lamineermachine.

To finish the card I followed the next steps:                     * Om de kaart te voltooien volgde ik de volgende stappen:

4. For both cards I used the Call Me Maybe stamp set from Ink Road. A lot of the sentiments from this set fit perfectly on the Nested Label Dies from ThermOWeb. I did die cut the shapes out of different colors of paper and stamped the words with embossing powder.                     *  4. Voor beide kaarten gebruikte ik de Call Me Maybe-stempelset van Ink Road. Veel van de boodschappen van deze set passen perfect op de label die set van ThermOWeb. Ik sneed de vormen uit verschillende kleuren papier en stempelde de tekst met embossingpoeder.

5. The big Hello Gorgeous Ink Road die set goes perfect with these sentiments. I did cut them out of glitter paper and did glue them on the Decofoil White Foam Adhesive.                     * 5. De grote Hello Gorgeous Ink Road-dieetset past perfect bij deze boodschappen. Ik sneed ze uit glitterpapier uit en kleefde ze op de Decofoil White Foam Adhesive.

6. To make the orange card complete I added the Flat Back Half Beats from ink road and some other sequins. Of course the Sheer Satin Fancy Ribbon White & Gold made the whole card look awesome.                     * 6. Om de oranje kaart compleet te maken, heb ik de Flat Back Half Beats toegevoegd van de InkRoad en enkele andere pailletten. Natuurlijk maakte de Sheer Satin Fancy Ribbon White & Gold het geheel geweldig.

As I told in the beginning of this post, the second card is made the same way only using slightly different products. For the pink card I used the Think Pink Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheet.                     * Zoals ik aan het begin van dit bericht heb verteld, is de tweede kaart op dezelfde manier gemaakt, maar alleen met iets andere producten. Voor de roze kaart gebruikte ik de Think Pink Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheet.

Of course I wanted to use pink Distress Ink for this background. For the words, shapes and the sentiments I used the same products only using other items of it.                     * Natuurlijk wilde ik roze Distress Ink gebruiken voor deze achtergrond. Voor de woorden, vormen en berichten heb ik dezelfde producten gebruikt maar andere item ervan.

For the last touches I used these Flat Back Half Gems from Ink Road and Sheer Satin Fancy Ribbon White & Silver from ThermOWeb.                     * Voor de laatste details heb ik deze Flat Back Half Gems van Ink Road en Sheer Satin Fancy Ribbon White & Silver van ThermOWeb gebruikt.

I hope you enjoyed my post.
