How To Get More Use Out Of Your Christmas Stamps

I am super happy to welcome you back to my blog for a card I made for Newton's Nook Designs! From today on you will be able to find more frequent blog posts here. This is also my first post from 2020, so I wish you the best. Hopefully you will have an incredible year ahead.                      * Ik ben super blij om jullie terug te verwelkomen op mijn blog voor een kaartje dat ik maakte voor Newton's Nook Designs! As you can see on the photo, I show an anniversary card here. The special thing about this card is that I only used Christmas stamp sets to make it. It's perfect to be able to use your stamps more often.                      *Zoals jullie op de foto kunnen zien, toon ik hier een jubileum kaartje. Het speciale aan deze kaart is dat ik enkel kerststempel sets gebruikte. Het is dus perfect om je stempels meer te kunnen gebruiken. 

1. First I made the background for the card. I colored a rectangular piece with blue Distress ink. Afterwards I placed the 'Sunscape' stecil on the card base, so it looks like the sun is in the middle of the card.                      * 1. Eerst maakte ik de achtergrond voor de kaart. Ik kleurde een rechthoek met blauwe Distress-inkt. Daarna plaatste ik de 'Sunscape' sjabloon op de kaartbasis, zodat het lijkt alsof de zon in het midden van de kaart staat.

2. Afterwards I did cut out and inked the grass and hills with the 'landboder' dies and Distress ink. To have a pretty border I used the second larged scalloped rectangle shape from the Framework die set.                      * 2. Daarna sneed en kleurde ik het gras en de heuvels met de 'landboder' snijmallen en Distress inkt. Om een ​​mooie rand te hebben gebruikte ik de tweede grootste geschulpte rechthoekige vorm van de Framework snijmal set. 

3. Next I colored the illutrations’s with copic markers. When I was happy with the result I added yellow to mimmic the sunbeams. Below you will find all Copic Markers that I used for this card:                       * 3. Vervolgens kleurde ik de illustraties met Copic Markers. 4. As last step I did stamp and cut out the sentiments from the 'Newton Celebrates' stamp set.                      * 4. Als laatste stap stempelde en knipte ik de tekst uit de 'Newton Celebrates' stempel set.
