Sweet Baby Banner Gift Idea

Hello and welcome to my blog again. Today I'm sharing this sweet baby banner gift I made using the: “Pretty Birdhouse SVG”,  “Mama & Baby Bird in Nest SVG”, “Sweet Baby Safety Pins SVG” and the hearts from “Cloud Raining Hearts SVG” from the PCC Shop.                       * Hallo en opnieuw welkom op mijn blog. Vandaag deel ik dit lieve babybannercadeautje dat ik heb gemaakt met de: "Pretty Birdhouse SVG", "Mama & Baby Bird in Nest SVG", "Sweet Baby Safety Pins SVG" en de hartjes uit "Cloud Raining Hearts SVG" van de PCC-winkel.

First of all I made my garland with HTV and my cutting machine. I combined the flowers of the birdhouses with the text and added a little heart here and there.                       * Allereerst heb ik mijn slinger gemaakt met flex en mijn snijmachine. De bloemen van de vogelhuisjes heb ik gecombineerd met de tekst en hier en daar een hartje toegevoegd.

Because there was also a bird on the baby card of Mia, these could of course not be missed on my flags. The eyes are the core of the flowers (cut out in a black color). My drawing was too fine to cut out the eyes as originally intended.                       * Omdat er op de babykaart van Mia ook een vogel stond, konden deze uiteraard niet ontbreken op mijn vlaggetjes. De ogen vormen de kern van de bloemen (uitgesneden in een zwarte kleur). Mijn tekening was te fijn om de ogen uit te snijden zoals oorspronkelijk bedoeld.

Do you know Canva? It is a website with which you can create professional posters, documents, Instagram posts and much more. PCC also provides png photos in the SVG sets. Ideal for making beautiful cards to add to your projects for sure with the help of this website.                       * Ken jij Canva? Ideaal om mooie kaarten te maken die je zeker aan je projecten kunt toevoegen met behulp van deze website.

I also made a note with washing instructions and ideas for what you can use the banner for. You can’t read it because it is of course in Dutch (my native language). But this project shows that you can also use the pretty PCC illustrations for much more than you think at first glance!                       * Ook heb ik een briefje gemaakt met wasinstructies en ideeën waar je de banner voor kunt gebruiken. Dit project laat zien dat je de mooie PCC-illustraties ook voor veel meer kunt gebruiken dan je op het eerste gezicht denkt!

Llama Birthday Flags For Girls

Hello everyone!! Today is my first blog post on the Printable Creatable and Cuttable website. To celebrate that, I thought it would be fun to show you something festive; a Birthday Banner.                       * Hallo iedereen!! Vandaag is mijn eerste blogpost voor de Printable Cuttable Creatable website. Om dat te vieren leek het me leuk om jullie iets feestelijks te laten zien; een verjaardagsbanner.

When I start, I think about a theme and all elements that goes with it. My theme started with the llama illustrations, that immediately gave me the idea that I should use cacti and confetti. The flowers are a nice addition, but also fit in with the feminine theme.                       * Als ik begin, denk ik na over een thema en alle elementen die daarbij horen. Mijn thema begon met de lama-illustraties, dat bracht me meteen op het idee om cactussen en confetti te gebruiken. De bloemen zijn een leuke toevoeging, maar passen ook bij het vrouwelijke thema.

So here I'll be sharing the banner featuring a lot of fun illustrations from Printable Cuttable Creatables (PCC) - Sweet Sunflowers, Potted Cactus Trio, Cute Llama, Spring Flowers Llama, the Cute Autumn Acorns and Party Time. All these illustrations are just perfect for a celebration.                       * Dus hier deel ik de banner met veel leuke illustraties van Printable Cuttable Creatables (PCC) - Sweet Sunflowers, Potted Cactus Trio, Cute Llama, Spring Flowers Llama, the Cute Autumn Acorns en Party Time. Al deze illustraties zijn gewoon perfect voor een feest.

The second step is writing the text “Milena is Jarig” (that’s in Dutch “Milena is having her Birthday”). Then I start building the rest of the banner by positioning all elements, normally I start with the bigger elements and go from there. As last step I change colors. I like to not use too many different colors, especially to make it look more cohesive.                       * De tweede stap is natuurlijk de tekst “Milena is Jarig” neerschrijven. Daarna werkte ik de banner verder af door alle elementen te positioneren, normaal begin ik met de grotere illustraties en ga van daaruit verder. Als laatste stap verander ik de kleuren. Ik gebruik graag niet te veel verschillende kleuren, vooral om het er meer samenhangend uit te laten zien.

On the first flag you can see one of the cacti. These flowers on top of it were added by using flowers from one of the other illustrations in the cut file (Potted Cactus Trio).                      * Op de eerste vlag zie je één van de cactussen. Deze bloemen heb ik er bovenop gezet door bloemen uit een van de andere illustraties in het knipbestand (Potted Cactus Trio) te gebruiken.

On the next few flags I added the name and attached elements, like confetti, the llama and flowers on top of a few letters to make the banner extra cute.                       * Op de volgende paar vlaggen heb ik de naam en voegde enkele elementen toe, zoals confetti, de lama en bloemen bovenop een paar letters om de banner extra schattig te maken.

It’s good to use some bigger elements on letters that are easy to read like the “I” and smaller on other letters. This ensures it’s not too buzzy to read the whole sentiment on the banner.                       * Het is goed om wat grotere elementen te gebruiken op letters die gemakkelijk te lezen zijn, zoals de "I" en kleinere op andere letters. Dit zorgt ervoor dat het niet te druk is omde volledige tekst op de banner te lezen.

When you start to cut things out, it’s important to count how many flags are in your banner. Because of spacing I did put the word “IS” on one flag instead of using two flags. I also used the bow from the “Cute Autumn Acorns” set, on the I.                       * Wanneer je de elementen dingen begint uit te knippen, is het belangrijk om te tellen hoeveel vlaggen er aan de spandoek hangen. Vanwege het aantal vlaggen heb ik het woord "IS" op één vlag gezet in plaats van twee vlaggen. Ik heb ook de strik uit de set "Cute Autumn Acorns" gebruikt, op de I.

The last word is “jarig” (means Birthday in Dutch). On these flags I made sure some elements where coming back, again to give that cohesive feeling.                       * Het laatste woord is "jarig". Op deze vlaggen heb ik ervoor gezorgd dat sommige elementen terugkwamen, wederom om dat samenhangende gevoel te geven.

The elements (confetti, flowers,…) are coming back, but I also make sure for example that all flower illustrations are not next to each other. This secures it’s spaced out nicely.                       * De elementen (confetti, bloemen,…) komen terug, maar ik zorg er bijvoorbeeld ook voor dat alle bloemenillustraties niet naast elkaar staan. Dit zorgt ervoor dat alles een mooi geheel krijgt.

The last item on this banner is the cute Llama from the “Cute Llama” SVG File & Clipart.                       * Het laatste item op deze banner is de schattige Llama van de "Cute Llama" SVG File & Clipart.

Safari Birthday Flags For Boys

Hi everyone, as I mentioned I am having a fun Cricut week on my blog.                       * Hallo iedereen, zoals ik gisteren al vertelde doe ik een leuke Cricut week op mijn blog.

Today I show you something that was made a little more recently (early October). It is a birthday garland for a child who celebrates his first birthday in February.                       * Vandaag toon ik jullie iets dat iets recenter is gemaakt (begin oktober). Het is een verjaardag slinger voor een kindje dat in Februari zijn eerste verjaardag viert.

The grandmother asked me if I could make something with the safari theme. Preferably with an elephant.                       * De oma vroeg aan mij of ik iets kon maken met het safari thema. Het liefst met een olifant.

After I pressed the text with iron-on on the flags, I decorated the text with other illustrations.                       * Nadat ik de tekst met flex op de vlaggetjes preste, decoreerde ik de tekst met andere illustraties. 

I also thought that there should be a lion on the flags, that means now that a child is the king on his birthday, right?!                       * Ik vond ook dat er een leeuw op de vlaggetjes moest komen, want zeg nu zelf een kind is toch de koning ter rijk op zijn verjaardag?!
