A Glitter Trio of Birthday Cards

Hello Friend

Hi there creative friends!! Today I made another nice card for Carlijn Design.                        * Hallo daar creatieve vrienden!! Vandaag heb ik weer een leuk kaartje gemaakt voor Carlijn Design.

As you can see I used quite a few products that Jocelijne designed. I used the umbrellas in combination with the bunny from the Hugs A Lot dies. Of course, this required a suitable background.                        * Zoals je kan zien heb ik heel wat producten gebruikt die Jocelijne ontwierp. Ik gebruikte de paraplu's in combinatie met het konijntje van de Hugs A Lot snijmallen. Hiervoor was natuurlijk een passende achtergond nodig.

I made the background with the raindrop stencil; I used one layer with distress ink and with the other layer I applied blue glitter paste. The text is made with the hot foil, together with the metallic paper.                        * De achtergrond maakte ik met de regendruppelsjablonen waarbij ik één laagje gebruikte met distress ink en met het ander laagje bracht ik blauwe glitter paste aan. De tekst is gemaakte met de hot foil, samen met de metallic papier.

NND Release MAY - Day 1: Fireflies, Jar, Bright Sentiments Hot Foil Plates and dies + Banner Duo Die Set

Hello everyone, Newton's Nook Design is zooming by with the new products for their release week. Today we have some extra exciting news to share...                         * Hallo allemaal, Newton's Nook Design zoeft voorbij met de nieuwe producten voor hun release week. Vandaag hebben we extra spannend nieuws om te delen...

As you can see on all pictures, we're expecting the very first Hot Foil products designed by Newton's Nook! We will introduce to you the Jar hot foils and dies, Fireflies hot foils and dies, Bright Sentiments hot foils and the Banner Duo dies.                        * Zoals je op alle foto's kunt zien, verwachten we de allereerste Hot Foil producten ontworpen door Newton's Nook! We maken kennis met de Jar hot foils en dies, Fireflies hot foils en dies, Bright Sentiments hot foils en de Banner Duo dies.

I created a pretty background with blue Distress ink and Gold Glitz Glitter Gel. Next I applied the hot foil on black paper and the jar hot foil on velum. As last I finished the card with a black grass boarder and a frame around the scene.                        * Ik heb een mooie achtergrond gemaakt met blauwe Distress inkt en Gold Glitz Glitter Gel. Vervolgens heb ik de hot foil op zwart papier aangebracht en de pot hot foil op velum. Als laatste heb ik de kaart afgewerkt met een zwarte grasrand en een kader om het tafereel een mooi geheel te houden.

NND Release - March 3: Spring Blooms Oval set + Spring Garden Line Stencil

Spring officially started yesterday and I can't wait for all the flowers and leaves to start blooming and growing. Today I share the "Spring Blooms Oval" set, one large oval frame with flowers all around the edge.                        * Vandaag deel ik de "Spring Blooms Oval" set, een grote ovaal met bloemen rondom de rand.

These oval images are a serries on the Newton's Nook Designs shop. They all are sized to fit inside the scallop edged frame on the Oval Frames Die Set and will fit on the front of a standard A2 sized card.                        * Deze ovale afbeeldingen zijn een serie op de Newton's Nook Designs-winkel. Ze zijn allemaal zo groot dat ze in het geschulpte frame van de Oval Frames Die Set passen en passen op de voorkant van een standaard A2-formaat kaart.

Shiny Glitter Cards inspired by a book

I’m sure you’ve seen those store-bought cards with pretty foil designs incorporated into the card. I thought it would be fun to do something similar and use the new Hot Foils from ThermOWeb. The photo above is a preview. NND Release - January day 1: Puppy Heart Stamps & Dies, Love & Woofs and Love & Chocolate Paper Pad

 

It's time to show off the first release of the year from Newton's Nook Designs. If you’re looking for some adorable card inspiration for your Valentine’s Day, then you’ll want to keep your eyes on this release!                       * Het is tijd om te pronken met de eerste release van het jaar van Newton's Nook Designs. Als je op zoek bent naar schattige kaartinspiratie voor je Valentijnsdag, dan wil je deze zeker release in de gaten houden!

Today we're showcasing the cute "Puppy Heart" stamps and dies.                       * Vandaag presenteren we de schattige "Puppy Heart" stempels en stansen.

Next we have this super pretty "Love & Chocolate" and the "Love & Woofs" paper pad.                       * Vervolgens hebben we dit super mooie "Love & Chocolate" en de "Love & Woofs" paperpad.

I took out my color pencils on this card again, it was been a while I used these. Time to change it this year! You can see on my instagram page I show which pencils I used. The backgound was created with the "Cloudy Sky" stencil and some Glitz Glitter Gell and a lot of Distress Ink.                        * Ik gebruikte mijn kleurpotloden weer op deze kaart, het was een tijdje geleden dat ik deze gebruikte. Tijd om daar dit jaar verandering in te brengen! Op mijn instagrampagina kun je zien welke potloden ik heb gebruikt. De achtergrond is gemaakt met het stencil "Cloudy Sky" en wat Glitz Glitter Gell en heel veel Distress Inkt.
