Spring 2024 PCC Design Team Blog Hop

Hello everyone, I'm so happy to join a new inspirational blog hop from Printable Cuttable Creatables Hop.                        * Hallo iedereen, vandaag kan je opnieuw een leuke inspiratie volle blog hop kan meedoen van Printable Cuttable Creatables. 

As you can see in the photos, I made a card with the "Love You for Eterni-tea SVG File".                        * Zoals jullie op de foto's kunnen zien maakte ik eens een kaartje met de "Love You for Eterni-tea SVG File".

I started this project by cutting everything out (I left the text in the paper.                        * Ik begon dit project door alles uit te knippen (ik liet de tekst in het papier zitten).

Then I created the background using ink and a stencil. I also gave the mug a little ink on the bottom and the brown color that suggests tea as well. I used the negative as a template to adhere the text nicely to the card with glue.                          * Vervolgens maakte ik de achtergrond door het gebruik van inkt en een sjabloon. Ook de mok gaf ik een beetje inkt aan de onderkant en het bruine kleurtje dat thee voorstelt ook. Ik gebruikte het negatief als sjabloon om de tekst mooi op het kaartje te kleven met lijm.

Supplies: A pretty SVG from PCC, material out of glass (be sure to not use colored glass or glass that is heat resistant, because those may not etch), etching cream, a paint brush, stencil vinyl or removable vinyl and protective gloves.                        * Benodigdheden: Een mooie SVG van PCC, materiaal van glas (gebruik geen gekleurd glas of glas dat hittebestendig is, want die kunnen vaak niet etsen), etscrème, een verfborstel, stencilvinyl of verwijderbaar vinyl en beschermende handschoenen.

1. First, prep you glass surface by cleaning it. Next you cut a stencil with your Cricut machine/Silhouette Cameo/Brother Scanncut/... I used the "Hello Summer" SVG File.                        * 1. Bereid eerst uw glasoppervlak voor, door het schoon te maken. Vervolgens knip je een stencil uit met je Cricut machine/Silhouette Cameo/Brother Scanncut/... Ik heb het SVG-bestand  "Hello Summer" SVG File.

2. We do the opposite from what we normally do. Weed your design by removing the negative spaces of vinyl. Take the weeded design and apply it to the clean glass surface using transfer tape. Push the bubbles down and smooth out the design as best as you can. I didn't do it, but actually it's better to use masking or painter’s tape around the stencil to protect the rest of the surface.                        * 2. We doen het tegenovergestelde van wat we normaal doen. Weed je ontwerp door de negatieve ruimtes van vinyl te verwijderen. Neem het negatiefontwerp en breng het aan op het propere glasoppervlak met behulp van transfertape. Duw de bubbels eruit en strijk het ontwerp zo goed mogelijk glad. Ik heb het niet gedaan, maar eigenlijk is het beter om afplaktape of schilderstape rond het sjabloon te gebruiken om de rest van het oppervlak te beschermen.

3. Than it's safety first. It is an acid, after all, so make sure your room is ventilated and you put on gloves. Apply a thick coat of cream. Let the cream sit without disturbance (look at the description on the bottle to see how many minutes). Next you rinse the etching cream off. After the glass has dried, remove the tape and vinyl stencil to reveal your etch.                        * 3. Dan komt veiligheid eerst. Het is tenslotte een zuur, dus zorg dat je kamer geventileerd is en trek handschoenen aan. Breng een dikke laag crème aan. Laat de crème rustig intrekken (kijk naar de beschrijving op het flesje voor hoeveel minuten). Vervolgens spoel je de etscrème af. Nadat het glas is opgedroogd, verwijder je de tape en het vinylstencil om je ets te onthullen.

No special after care instructions needed, You ust use and clean the glass as normal.                        * Er zijn geen speciale instructies voor nazorg nodig. Je kan het glas zoals gewoonlijk gebruiken en reinigen.

Deck the Halls with Inky Paws Blog Hop

Hi there! I'm here with some fun Christmas cards for the 'Deck the halls with inky paws blog hop'.                       * Hallo daar! Ik ben hier met een paar leuke kerstkaarten voor de 'Deck the halls with inky paws bloghop'.

I started off with stamping out all images and coloring them with 'Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers'.                       * Ik ben begonnen met alle afbeeldingen uit te stempelen en in te kleuren met 'Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers'.

Next I did die cut a lot of different paper pieces with the 'Frames and Flags' die set and die 'Circle Frames' die set.                       * Vervolgens heb ik veel verschillende stukjes papier gestanst met de stansset 'Frames and Flags' en de stansset 'Circle Frames'.

In the end I made 4 nice cards.                       * Uiteindelijk maakte ik 4 leuke kaartjes.

For this year's post I made a card with a picture. This is meant to thank the foster mom of our new cat, Bailey.                       * Voor de post van dit jaar maakte ik een kaartje met een fotootje. Deze is bedoeld om de opvang mama van onze nieuwe poes, Bailey, te bedanken.

The photo may be a little surprise in the card, but that's not all.                       * De foto is misschien een kleine verrassing in het kaartje, maar dat is niet alles.

I also made a matching bag with tag for Bailey's mom. This includes cat treats. They were not put together, because mom and son did not have such a good relationship. The mama was unfortunately very shy and didn't look at our Bailey. Fortunately, the mom now has some rest without her kitten. With a little comfort food, she'll probably get a little better too.                       * Ik maakte ook een passend zakje met tag voor de mama van Bailey. Hierin zitten kattensnoepjes. Ze werden namelijk niet samen gezet, omdat mama en zoon niet zo'n goede band hadden. De mama was helaas heel schuw en keek hierdoor niet naar onze Bailey om. Gelukkig heeft de mama nu wat rust zonder hem. Met een beetje troostvoer zal ze er vast iets meer bovenop komen.
