Christmas Card series: The last Christmas Cards

Finally the time has come to show you my last Christmas cards (haha it's the end of January but that's okay). *Eindelijk is de tijd gekomen om jullie mijn laatste kerstkaartjes te tonen (haha het is wel eind januari maar kom).

For each of these cards, I also made a second version. & just before I've send them out I made the corners round. That gave the cards a more finished look, but of course I forgot to take a picture of that haha. *Ik maakte van elk van deze kaartje ook een tweede versie. & net voor ik ze opstuurde maakte ik de hoeken rond. Dat gaf de kaarten een meer afgewerkte 'look', maar natuurlijk vergat ik daar een foto van te nemen haha. 

Before I end this post I want to wish Some Odd Girl (my favorite stamp company) a happy 5 year existence. They have a challenge where you have to represent a birthday or five on a project. I wish I could make a new b-day card to celebrate along with them, (grr exams lol). Now I just show you a Christmas card where I coincidental stamped 5 times on a card. Is the gold ink not super pretty with the brown? *Voor ik afsluit wil ik Some Odd Girl (mijn favoriete stempel bedrijf) een gelukkig 5 jarig bestaan toewensen. Ze hebben een uitdaging klaar staan waar je een verjaardag of iets met 5 moet presenteren op een werkje. Ik wou dat ik een kaartje kon maken om hun verjaardag met hen te vieren, (grr examens lol). Nu laat ik je gewoon een kerstkaart zien waar ik toevallig 5 keer op stempelde. Wat vinden jullie van de goude en bruine inkt samen?

The end of the exams is near; oh I look forward to make new projects next week!! *Het einde van de examens is in zicht; oh wat kijk ik uit om volgende week terug nieuwe projectjes te maken!!

Christmas Cards 6: 3x4 cards

I hope you're not bored seeing more quick cards I made for Christmas with Free Digital Stamps from Just Me website.*Ik hoop dat ik je niet verveel door nog meer kaarten te tonen die ik maakte voor de kerst met gratis digitale stempels van Just Me website.

My boyfriend needed them for his colleagues at work. I think the images make the cards super cute, don't you think? *Mijn vriendje had ze nodig voor zijn collega's op het werk. Ik denk dat de afbeeldingen van op de kaartjes super schattig zijn, vind je niet?

I'm still working on my exams, I hope you have more fun these days. See you later :). *Ik ben nog steeds bezig met mijn examens, & hoop dat jullie meer plezier hebben deze dagen. Tot later :).

Christmas Card 5: more cards

  

 ENG: I've been thinking if I would show you these cards. Personally, I find that I did not color these images beautiful and in addition it also shows a different style than I am now evaluated at. Of course I am aware that practice beard and I probably have to learn a lot about these Copic markers.

NL:  Ik heb even nagedacht of ik jullie deze kaarten zou tonen. Persoonlijk vind ik dat ik de afbeeldingen niet mooi kleurde en daarnaast toont het toch ook voor een stuk een andere stijl dan waar ik nu naar geëvalueerd ben. Natuurlijk ben ik me ervan bewust dat oefening kunst baard & ik heb vast nog heel veel te leren. 

 

ENG: Yet I want to show these quick and simple maps. They are so smart / handy if you need to make a lot of Christmas cards :). & I had so much fun with them in the summer and of course it helped me to learn to control coloring 

NL: Toch wil ik deze snelle en eenvoudige kaartjes tonen. Ze zijn zo slim/handig als je veel kerstkaarten moet maken :). Ik had er in de zomer veel plezier aan en het natuurlijk hielp me om het kleuren te leren kennen.

ENG: For this week these where the cards I wanted to show. But do not worry hihi, I'll still show Christmas cards here (I have a lot left). Sunday I am here again with something super fun and different (at least I had a really good time last weekend with it). See you soon :)

NL: Voor deze week zitten de kaarten erop. Maar hihi geen paniek, ik zal er nog steeds tonen (ik heb er veel (heel veel). Zondag ben ik er weer met iets super leuk en anders (althans ik had er veel plezier mee vorig weekend); tot snel :)

Christmas Card 4

ENG: My second card share for this week is two of my favorite cards. I just love the "Crate Paper" paper a lot and of course two of my favorite Christmas stamps from Some Odd Girl (HoliDeer & Chris Mouse).

NL: Mijn tweede kaart die ik deze week toon, zijn twee van mijn favoriete kaarten. Ik hou gewoon van het "Crate Paper" papier en natuurlijk gebruikte ik ook twee van mijn favoriete Kerst stempels van Some Odd Girl (HoliDeer & Chris Mouse).

ENG: These pictures shows how I made these cards  1. Supplies you need a stamp, circle dies, banner die, snowflake die, paper and stamps.  /  2. Cut two circles out (one larger than the other). Then you stamp on the small circle and you color the stamp.The Copic markers I used: RV13, R22, R05, E50, E31, YR61, BV31, BV23 and BV60   /   3.  Then you put the circles and background paper on the card and cut three snowflakes.  /  4. Put it all together and finish the card with sticking pearls in the middle snowflakes.

NL: Deze foto's laten zien hoe ik de kaarten maakte  1. Benodigdheden: een stempel, papier, een cirkel, banner en sneeuwvlok snijmall.  / 2. Snijd twee gesneden  cirkels uit (één groter dan de ander). Waarna je op de kleine stempelt en deze inkleurt. De Copic markers die ik gebruikte zijn: RV13, R22, R05, E50, E31, YR61, BV31, BV23 en BV60  /  3. Daarna plak je de cirkels en het achtergrond papier op de kaart en snij je drie  sneeuwvlokken uit. / 4. Plak de rest op de kaart en maak de kaart af door parels in het midden sneeuwvlokken te plaatsen.

Christmas Card 3

ENG: This week I like to share more of my Christmas cards and there will be one post in 2 days. So I'll be posting more this week. On this picture you can see all the supplies I used to make this quick card. With this I also like to join the linky party from Some Odd Girl.

NL: Deze week toon ik graag meer van mijn kerstkaarten en zal één berichten in 2 dagen maken. Dus ik zal  meer posten deze week. Op deze foto kun je alle benodigdheden zien die ik gebruikt om deze snelle kaart te maken. Met dit wil ik graag aansluiten aan de Linky party van Some Odd Girl.

ENG: On the pictures you see my step-by-step tutorial. 1. Cut out a circle and do the same with a smaller die for the background paper. Then glue both pieces on a card base  /   2. Put your clear block above the circle so you can curve your clear stamp. & stamp him in the circle  /  3. Sprinkle with a paintbrush some glitter mist  /  4. Color your image, stick it on the card with some foamdots and put two rhinestones next to your sentiment.

NL: Op de foto's zie je mijn stap-voor-stap handleiding. 1. Snij een cirkel uit en doe hetzelfde met een kleinere snijmal voor het achtergrond papier. Lijm dan beide stukken op een kaart  / 2. Zet uw doorzichtige stempelblok boven de cirkel, zodat u de u stempel kan vormen tot dezelfde curve. Stempel hem dan in de cirkel / 3. Bestrooi met een penseel wat glitter mist  / 4. Kleur uw afbeelding in, plak het op de kaart met een dimensionale foam en plaats twee gliterstenen naast uw zinnetje.

ENG: Sometimes an easy card can be very pretty; don't you think?

NL: Soms kan een makkelijke kaart ook heel mooi zijn; denk je niet?

Christmas card series: add sparkle or metallic (LiaStampz)

ENG: Today I share my first Design Team Project for Lia Stampz. LiaStampz is holding a new Challenge, you have to use metallic or sparkles. I did both and used two digital stamps on this (Christmas Tree Boy and Merry Christmas). I printed out these stamps on a really light color so I could do my first time no-line coloring.

NL: Vandaag neem ik voor het eerst deel aan een project voor Lia Stampz design team. Op de LiaStampz blog is er een nieuwe uitdaging, je moet metallic of glitters gebruiken. Ik heb beide en gedaan en gebruikte twee digitale stempels (Christmas Tree Boy en Merry Christmas). Ik heb de  stempels op een heel lichte kleur uitgeprint en dit is dus ik mijn eerste keer no-line kleuren.

Christmas Card series: using embossing folders part 2

ENG: My second card share in this Christmas card series is made this week. The stamp sets that I used are two new stamps sets from My Style Stamps. The first (with the snowman) is 'Snow Much Love' and the other is 'Tangled'. Both are super cute and playful (release date: November 29th).

NL: Mijn tweede post van mijn Kerstkaart-serie is  deze week gemaakt. De stempel sets die ik heb gebruikt zijn twee nieuwe stempels van My Style Stamps. De eerste (met de sneeuwpop) noemt 'Snow Much Love' en de andere oproep 'Tangled'. Beide zijn super schattig en speels (release datum: 29 november).

ENG: On both of the cards I use embossing folders. In the video I like to show you how I used the dot-relief to make a snow background.
NL: Op beide van de kaarten gebruik ik embossing folders. In de video toon ik jullie graag hoe ik de het cirkel-reliëf gebruikte om een sneeuwachtergrond te maken.


ENG: Next week I'll be there in Thursday instead of Wednesday. Thursday will be my first attempt for a challenge on the LiaStampz blog, I hope to see you then :)

Christmas Card series - Card 1 using embossing folders

ENG: Today I like to show you my first card from my Christmas series. A few months ago I started making Christmas cards. Yes that's around summer (haha), because I had to make at least 40 Christmas cards. I will not show them all, but some of them I like to share. With this series I like to share some fast and easy ways to make different and cute Christmas cards.

NL: Vandaag wil ik  mijn eerste kaart laten zien uit mijn kerst-serie. Een paar maanden geleden ben ik begonnen met kerstkaarten maken. Ja  dat was rond de zomer (haha), want ik moest minstens 40 kerstkaarten maken. Ik zal ze niet allemaal laten zien, maar een aantal van hen wil ik graag delen. Met deze serie zou ik graag een aantal snelle en gemakkelijke manieren tonen om verschillende en leuke kerst kaarten te maken.

ENG: On these cards I embossed the backgrounds and went over it with some ink pads. The rest of the card is finished with some dies, bling and Some Odd Girl stamps.

NL: Op deze kaarten gebruikte ik embossingfolders en ging ik over het reliëf heen met enkele inkt pads. De rest van de kaart is afgewerkt met een aantal snijmallen, glitterstenen en Some Odd Girl stempels.

ENG: Before I end my blog post I like to say my master proof is getting a good start; I will join a professional research team. It will be a lot work, but I'm super excited about that. See you later alligator ;) 

NL: Voor ik gedaan heb meld ik jullie graag dat mijn masterproef een goede start krijgt; Ik zal deelnemen aan een professioneel onderzoeksteam. Het zal veel werk zijn, maar ik ben er alvast super enthousiast over. See you later alligator;)

First Christmas cards of the year

 

ENG: Hi all, today I'm here with my 2nd and 3rd project with some stamps from My Style Stamps.

All the stamps are already released so be sure to check out the website: http://www.mystylestamps.com. On my first card I used all both sets. I love how the brown snowflakes look on that craft paper; it's like making your own patterned paper.

NL: Hallo allemaal, vandaag ben ik hier met mijn 2e en 3e project gemaakt met enkele stempels van My Style Stamps. Alle stempels zijn al vrijgegeven, dus zorg ervoor dat je ze bekijkt op hun website: http://www.mystylestamps.com. Op mijn eerste kaart gebruikte ik beide sets. Ik hou ervan hoe de bruine sneeuwvlokken eruitzien op dat craft papier; het is net alsof je je eigen patroon papier maakt.

ENG: My second card is a shaker card, I loved making it and I encourage everyone to try it out. It's just so much fun!! In the video you can see how the card looks. Both of the stamp sets (Many Blessings & Scripty Christmas) are so perfect to make some pretty Christmas cards, I really loved using the stamps this month.

NL: Mijn tweede kaart is een shaker kaart, het was super tof om er eens zo eentje te maken en ik moedig dan ook iedereen aan om het eens uit te proberen. Het is gewoon zo leuk !! In de video kun je zien hoe de kaart eruit ziet. Beide stempel sets (Many Blessings & Scripty Christmas) zijn dus perfect om een aantal mooie kerstkaarten te maken, ik hield er echt van om ze het gebruiken deze maand.
