NND Release: June 2021 - BBQ Roundabout and Seashell Roundabout

At Newton's Nook Designs we are all very excited to share sneak peeks for the FINAL DAY!! These products are packed with adorable summer items...                       * Bij Newton's Nook Designs zijn we allemaal erg enthousiast om sneak peeks te delen voor de LAATSTE DAG!! Deze producten zitten boordevol schattige zomeritems...

First we have the "Seashell roundabout" stamp set.                       * Als eerste hebben we de "Seashell roundabout" stempelset.

With this set it's time to fire up the grill! The set  is full of little BBQ elements.                       * Met deze set is het tijd om de grill aan te steken! De set zit vol met kleine BBQ-elementen.

I made this shaker card as fathersday card (for last week).                       * Deze schudkaart heb ik gemaakt als vaderdagkaart (voor vorige week).

Next we have the "Sheashell Roundabout" stamps set.                       * Vervolgens hebben we de stempelset "Sheashell Roundabout".

Both sets are perfectly sized to fit with the scallop edged circle frame on the Circle Frames Die Set and is perfect for creating circle cards or layering a circle onto any card! The sentiments on these sets are all sized to fit on the die cut banners from our Banner Trio Die Set.                       * Beide sets hebben de perfecte maat om te passen in het cirkelframe met geschulpte randen op de Circle Frames Die Set en is ideaal voor het maken van cirkelkaarten of het aanbrengen van een cirkel op elke kaart! De teksten op deze sets zijn allemaal op maat gemaakt om op de gestanste banners uit onze Banner Trio Die Set te passen.

Clear Toner Stamped Gift Tags with Deco Foil

Hi crafty friends! I wanted to show you some projects with the Fern and Willard products from Photo Play Paper and new ThermOWeb clear designer toner sheets, but the mail service decided to not deliver these items on time. Still, I like to share how fun it is, to use clear designer toner sheets on top of pattern paper. Even with autumn products, you can make something perfect for spring!                         * Hallo creatieve vrienden! Ik wilde jullie enkele projecten laten zien met de Fern en Willard producten van Photo Play Paper en nieuwe ThermOWeb clear designer tonervellen, maar de postdienst besloot deze items niet op tijd te bezorgen. Toch wil ik jullie graag tonen hoe leuk het is om de doorzichtige designer-tonervellen op patroonpapier te gebruiken. Zelfs met herfstproducten kun je iets moois maken voor de lente!

NND Release: February 2021 - Spring Roundabout + Basketweave and Bunny Tails Stencils

Hello creative friends! It's time to show the new products for  the Newton's Nooks Design release from this month! We are beyond excited to begin sharing everything! We do not only show you a new stamp set today, but also two super fun stencils!!                       * Hallo creatievelingen! Het is tijd om de nieuwe producten voor de Newton's Nooks Design-release van deze maand te laten zien! We zijn ontzettend enthousiast om alles met jullie te kunnen delen! We laten je vandaag niet alleen een nieuwe stempel set zien, maar ook twee superleuke sjablonen!!

Let's start with the stencils. First of all, we have the "Bunny Tails". These are two stencils that belong together, one stencil includes the rabbits and the other the tails. Both stencils include etching of the opposite layer so they are easy to line up. Perfect for creating a super cute bunny pattern. The second stencil is the "Basket Weave" stencil.                        * Laten we eraan beginnen met de sjablonen. Allereerst hebben we de "Bunny Tails". Dit zijn twee sjablonen die samen horen, één sjabloon omvat de konijnen en het andere de staartjes. Beide sjablonen bevatten groefjes van de tegenoverliggende laag, zodat ze gemakkelijk op één lijn kunnen worden gebracht. Perfect om een super schattig konijnenpatroon te maken. Het tweede sjabloon is het "Basket Weave" -sjabloon

Of course I first made a card with the "Bunny Tails" stencil set. For this I used Distress ink on my first layer (the colors: Mustard Seed and Squeezed Lemonade). Then I used Gold Glitz Glitter Gel from ThermOWeb for the second layer, the tails.                       * Natuurlijk maakte ik eerst een kaartje met de "Bunny Tails" sjabloon set. Hiervoor gebruikte ik voor mijn eerste laag Distress inkt (in de kleuren: Mustard Seed and Squeezed Lemonade). Voor de tweede laag, de staartjes, gebruikte Gold Glitz Glitter Gel from ThermOWeb. 

The glitter tails make the pattern very elegant. I think it is fun to just add a stamp to this and quickly complete a card.                       * De glitter staartjes maken het patroon heel elegant. Ik vind het ook super leuk om hier gewoon een stempel aan toe te voegen en zo een kaartje snel te vervolledigen.

On the next card you can see not only the "Basket Weave" stencil, but also the new stamp set; "Spring Roundabout". This  "Spring Roundabout" stamp set is perfectly sized to fit with the scallop edged circle frame on the Circle Frames Die Set and is perfect for creating circle cards or layering a circle onto any card! The sentiments on this set are all sized to fit on the die cut banners from our Banner Trio Die Set.

Op de volgende kaart kan je niet alleen de Basket Weave sjabloon zien, maar ook de nieuwe stempel set; Spring Roundabout.                       * Op de volgende kaart ziet u niet alleen het "Basket Weave"-sjabloon, maar ook de nieuwe stempelset; "Spring Roundabout". Deze "Spring Roundabout" Stamp Set heeft het perfecte formaat dat past bij het geschulpte cirkelframe op de "Circle Frames" die set" en is perfect voor het maken van cirkelkaarten of het in lagen aanbrengen van een cirkel op een kaart! De gevoelens op deze set zijn allemaal zo groot dat ze passen op de gestanste banners van onze "Banner Trio" die set.

This time I used the "Zig Clean Color Brush Markers" to color the illustrations. For the pattern on the paper I used the new "Basket Weave" stencil and Distress ink (in the color Peacock Feathers).                       * Deze keer gebruikte ik de "Zig Clean Color Brush Markers" om de illustraties in te kleuren. Voor het patroon op het papier gebruikte ik het nieuwe "Basket Weave" stencil en Distress inkt (in de kleur Peacock Feathers).

Instead of centering everything on my card, I placed the circle more to the right. Now you can see that it also works!                       * In plaats van alles te centreren op mijn kaartje, plaatste ik de cirkel meer naar rechts toe. Zo zie je maar dat dat ook werkt!

NND Release: Januay 2021 - Heartfelt Love, Heartfelt Roses & Heart Frames

Yay, it's time to check out the first Newton's Nook Design release of year. Since Valentine is arround the corner, you can imagine a lot of lovely projects will be shown. So get ready to enjoy four days of sneak peeks!                      * Jippie, het is tijd om de eerste Newton's Nook Design-release van het jaar te bekijken. Nu dat het bijna Valentijn is, kan je je best inbeelden dat er heel wat liefdes projectjes op jullie staan te wachten. Bereid je dus voor op vier dagen lang sneak peeks!

We start the release with already A LOT of fun stuff.... First we're showing this lovely "Heartfelt Love" stamp set with the "Heart Frames" dies. The excisting "Banner Trio" die set is also perfect to place your sentiments.                      * We beginnen de release met al heel VEEL leuke dingen .... Eerst tonen we jullie deze mooie "Heartfelt Love" stempel set met de "Heart Frames" snijmallen. De bestaande "Banner Trio" die set is ook perfect om de tekst in te plaatsen.

There is nothing better than being able to hand over a card with many hearts on it onValentine. Today used my color pencils (Derwent Coloursoft Pencils) to color the images. On this card I used:                      * Er is niets beter dan een kaartje te kunnen afgeven met vele hartjes erop met Valentijn. Vandaag gebruikte mijn kleurpotloden (Derwent Coloursoft Pencils) om de afbeeldingen in te kleuren. Op deze kaart gebruikte ik: 

Pink/Rose: Bright Pink C200, Blush Pink C180, Pink C190, Soft Pink C170

Red/Rood: Deep Red C130, Red C120, Scarlet C110, Rose C100

Bordeaux/Bordeaux: Loganberry C160, Cranberry C150

Grey/Grijs: Dove Grey C670, White Grey C710, White C720

I also have another card to present to you. This card shows one of the text stamps again, but also something that will be in the sportlight tomorrow,...                       * Ik heb ook nog een ander kaartje om aan jullie te laten zien. Deze kaart toont de opnieuw één van de tekst stempels, maar ook iets dat morgen in de sportlight staat,...

The biggest hearts where applied with Glitz Glitter Gel from ThermOWeb. For this I used the colors: Bubblegum, Lovely Lavendar, Wild Lilac.                      * De grootste hartjes zijn aangebracht met Glitz Glitter Gel van ThermOWeb. Hiervoor gebruikte ik de kleuren: Bubblegum, Lovely Lavendar, Wild Lilac.

The second set we put in the picture today is "Heartfelt Roses". Also this stamp set fits perfectly in the new "Heart Frames" die set.                      * De tweede set die we vandaag in de picture zetten is "Heartfelt Roses". Ook deze tempel set past in de nieuwe "Heart Frames" die set.

In my opinion, this set is just as suitable for a birthday, wedding or a thank you card next valentine's Day.                      * Deze set is naar mijn mening naast een echte valentijdsset even passend voor een verjaardag, trouw of een bedanking.

Here I also colored the illustrations with the Derwent Coloursoft Pencils.                      * Ook hier kleurde ik de illustraties met de Derwent Coloursoft Pencils.
