Hello friends! This is the last card for my Christmas in July series made with the Els Brigé Design stamp sets. Today I want to focus on pattern paper. * Hallo vrienden! Dit is de laatste kaart voor mijn kerst in juli-serie gemaakt met de Els Brigé Design stempelsets. Vandaag wil ik me concentreren op papier.
I wanted to use the "Een Nieuw Jaar" stamp set to make the card. I still needed some inspiration and looked for it in the patterns of paper. * Ik wilde de "Een Nieuw Jaar" stempel set gebruiken om het kaartje te maken. aar had wat inspiratie nodig en zocht dat bij het patronen papier.
As you use pattrn paper it important try to find something that fit your theme. This paper is acctially a leaf print from a summer paper pad, but it looks like a wool sweather print. This makes it perfect for my card. Pattern paper can give also further direction to your cards. I descided that brown was a perfect match for this teal color and based t rest of my card on both colors. * Als je papier gebruikt, is het belangrijk iets te vinden dat bij je thema past. Dit papier is eigenlijk een blaadjes patroon van een zomerpapierblok, maar het ziet er ook uit als een wollen trui. Dit maakt het perfect voor mijn kaart. Patroon papier kan verder ook richting geven aan je kaarten. Ik dacht dat bruin een perfecte match was voor deze kleur.
I also based the rest of my card on those colors. As you can see, the brown and teal colors return in the text. To add something extra to the card, I also used an action wobble for the pine cone and that was it for today. * Ook de rest van mijn kaart baseerde ik op die kleuren. Zoals je kan zien komt het bruin en appelblauw-zeegroen terug in tekst. Om er iets extra leuk van het kaartje toe te voegen gebruikte ik ook een action wobble voor de dennenappel en dat was het voor vandaag.
