Jingle all the Way

Hello everyone, this is the second blog post of today. Here I show two cards for Carlijn Design.                        * Hallo iedereen, dit is de tweede blog post van vandaag. Hier toon ik twee kaartjes voor Carlijn Design.

Have you seen these nice bell die set yet? It's really a cool set ("Jolly Jingles 2" from Jocelijne Design).                        * Hebben jullie deze leuke bel snijmallen al gezien? Het is echt een toffe set ("Jolly Jingles 2" van Jocelijne Design). 

You can not only make nice Christmas cards, but also wedding, anniversary, communion,...                        * Je kan niet alleen leuke kerstkaartjes maken maar ook trouw, jubileum, communie,... 

Next year I will be married for 5 years, so I had to record that.                        * Volgend jaar ben ik 5 jaar getrouwd en dat moest ik dus vast leggen.

Of course you can just make Christmas cards with it.                        * Natuurlijk kan je er gewoon kerstkaartjes met maken. 

I used special colors here that could be used for an Easter card too.                        * Ik gebruikte hier speciaal kleurtjes die ook zouden kunnen gebruikt worden voor een paaskaart.

Vintage Wax Seal Envelope Idea

Hi all and welcome to another week of inspiration on my blog, thank you to pass by!                        * Hallo allemaal en welkom voor weer leuke inspiratie op mijn blog deze week, bedankt om langs te komen.

On Monday it's time for a Carlijn Design project. Today I did decorate a envelope. In the envelope there is a written letter for my Husband.                        * Op maandag is het tijd voor een project van Carlijn Design. Vandaag heb ik een envelop versierd. In de envelop zit een geschreven brief voor mijn man.

As you can see, I love using the wax seals! It's so very pretty..                        * Zoals je kunt zien, ben ik dol op het gebruik van de lakzegels! Het is zo ontzettend mooi.

     

Interactive and Personal Wedding card

When you follow me on my instagram you saw already this wedding card made for my best friend. Today I show it on my blog.                        * Als je me volgt op mijn instagram zag je al deze trouwkaart gemaakt voor mijn beste vriendin. Vandaag wil ik hem hier tonen.

With the dies from Heffy Doodle I made the pop up base. Later I decorated it with different products from Newton's Nook, Lawn Fawn and Spellbinders.                        * Met de stansen van Heffy Doodle heb ik de pop-up basis gemaakt. Later heb ik het versierd met verschillende producten van Newton's Nook, Lawn Fawn en Spellbinders.

I love to make cards for big events personal, so I did include a picture from the happy couple.                        * Ik hou ervan om kaarten voor grote evenementen persoonlijk te maken, dus heb ik een foto van het gelukkige koppel bijgevoegd.

When you pull on the ribbon not only the picture wil apear, but also a congratulations.                        * Bij het trekken aan het lint verschijnt niet alleen de foto, maar ook een felicitatie.

Something Old, Something New, Something Borrow and Something Blue

You already saw a lovely pillowcase pass by this week. Here I also show you a small box that I made for the same wedding.                        * Je zag deze week al een leuke kussensloop voorbij komen. Hier laat ik je ook een klein doosje zien dat ik voor dezelfde bruiloft heb gemaakt.

This wedding was not just any wedding; it was my best friend's wedding! So I was also allowed to be the maid of honor at the wedding and prepared a small text.                        * Deze trouw was niet zomaar een trouw; het was de trouw van mijn beste vriendin. Ik mocht dus ook getuige zijn op de trouw en bereide een klein tekstje voor.

I made my text based on "Something Old, Something New, Something Borrow and Something Blue". It is a pin with different elements that the bride takes with her for extra luck. So I made a pin with a few anecdotes and some wishes. I etched the names on the box, next month I will also show you how to do that!                        * Ik maakte mijn tekst met als basis "Something Old, Something New, Something Borrow and Something Blue". Het is een speldje met verschillende elementen die de bruid op de trouw meeneemt voor extra geluk. Ik had dus zo'n speldje gemaakt met enkele anekdotes en succeswensen. De namen etste ik op het doosje, volgende maand zal ik ook laten zien hoe je dat doet!

Lovely Pillowcase Wedding Gift Idea

Welcome to my blog. Today I'm writing a blog post for the Printable Cuttable Creatables blog. In this post I will show you a fun and unique wedding gift idea. I decorated a pillowcase with the pretty “Just Married Wedding Car” SVG File.                        * Welkom op mijn blog. Vandaag schrijf ik een blogpost voor het blog Printable Cuttable Creatables. In deze post laat ik je een leuk en uniek idee voor een huwelijkscadeau zien. Ik heb een kussensloop versierd met het mooie "Just Married Wedding Car" SVG-bestand.

I loved the colors Kristin (the owner and creator of PCC) used on the example picture on the website. That’s why I bought some HTV in the same colors. After that I did cut all the layers and added the names of the couple and the date (in EU we write a date different than in US).                        * De kleuren die Kristin (de eigenaar en maker van PCC) gebruikte op de voorbeeldfoto op de website vond ik enorm mooi. Daarom kocht ik flex in dezelfde kleuren. Daarna heb ik alle lagen geknipt en de namen van het paar en de datum eraan toegevoegd.

At the end I bought a bow and attached money with twines. A glue dot helped me sticking it to the pillowcase. This makes sure the couple can take the bow/money away and use the pillow as is.                        * Voor de afwerking kocht ik een strik en bevestigde geld met touwtjes. Een lijmsticker hielp me om het op de kussensloop te plakken. Deze sticker zorgt ervoor dat het paar de strik/het geld kan wegnemen en het kussen kan gebruiken zoals het is.

Personalized Cicut, Paper and Flock Wedding Gift

Today I have a slightly larger post with a nice card and a matching gift.                       * Vandaag heb ik een iets grotere post met een leuk kaartje en passend cadeautje.

As you probably know, I have a "baby DIY Series" on my blog, in which I give you ideas for cards and gifts for a newborn child. This year I also have many wedding parties on the agenda. Of course, I want to make a similar sequence.                       * Zoals jullie waarschijnlijk weten heb ik op mijn blog een "baby DIY Series", in die serie geef ik jullie ideetjes voor kaartjes en cadeautjes voor een pasgeboren kindje. Dit jaar heb ik ook veel trouwfeesten op de agenda staan. Natuurlijk wil hiervoor een zelfde soort reeks maken.

Today I show you the first post of the wedding series.                       * Vandaag toon ik jullie de eerste post van de trouwreeks.

Jocelijne is married and I couldn't just let that pass. So I made a card with some nice dies from Jocelijne Design. With the same dies I made a cute embroidery hoop with Flock from ThermoWeb.                       * Jocelijne is getrouwd en dat kon ik toch niet zomaar voorbij laten gaan. Ik maakte dus een kaartje met enkele leuke mallen van Jocelijne Design. Met dezelfde mallen maakte ik een schattige borduurring met Flock van ThermOWeb.

With my cricut I did cut out heat transfer, so I could attach their name and date to the hoop.                       * Met mijn cricut sneed ik flex uit, zodat ik hun naam en datum op de borduurring kon bevestigen.

All of that went in the mail to the newlywed couple!                       * Dat alles ging de post op richting het pasgetrouwd koppeltje!

Using the Mugpress for the first time

For the first time of the I created these mugs with my mugpress. These mugs are made for the couple that married a few weeks ago. They're not quite perfect yet (a bit of a crooked texts here and there), but they've turned out nice enough to give as a gift.                       * Voor de eerste keer heb ik deze mokken gemaakt met mijn mugpress. Deze mokken zijn gemaakt voor het stel dat een paar weken geleden trouwde. Ze zijn nog niet helemaal perfect (hier en daar een scheef lettertje), maar toch leuk geworden om nog cadeau te geven.

NND Release - April day 2: Destination Love + Lilacs stamps and dies

Welcome to the second day of the Newton's Nook Designs release! This week we will be introducing new stencils, stamps and dies from the upcoming April Release!                         * Welkom op de eerste dag van de Newton's Nook Designs  release! deze week introduceren we nieuwe sjablonen, stempels en matrijzen van de komende april release!

As you can see in the first pictures there is a new wedding set: 'Destination Love'.                       * Zoals je op de eerste foto's kan zien is er een nieuwe trouw set: 'Destination Love'.

I really love tis set! I made this card for a friended couple of mine who got married last week!                       * Ik vind hem echt geweldig! Ik heb dit kaartje dan ook gemaakt voor een bevriend koppeltje dat vorige week trouwde!

But this is not all.                       * Maar dit is nog niet alles.

We also have the super nice 'Lilacs' stamp and dies.                       * We hebben ook de super mooie 'Lilacs' stempel en snijmallen. 

We also have this butterfly plant in our garden, really nice that I now have a stamp set of it.                       * Wij hebben deze vlinderplant ook in onze tuin staan, echt super leuk dat ik er nu een stempel set van heb.

A. & E. Got Married!!

Hello friends, welcome to my blog again. Today I have a card ready for a wedding!                  * Hallo vrienden, welkom terug op mijn blog. Vandaag heb ik een kaartje klaarstaan voor een bruiloft!

This weekend a friend of mine got married. I was very sad that I could not be there, but had so much fun seeing some photos passing by. Anyway, back to the information of the card. This was made with a flower set from Neat & Tangled, a background die from Lawn Fawn, an alphabet dies set from Whimsy Stamps and the Frames and Flags dies from Newton's Nook Design. All illustrations were colored with Zig Markers and the colors were based on the invitation of the couple.                 * Dit weekend trouwde een vriendin van mij. Ik vond het erg jammer dat ik er niet kon bij zijn, maar had zoveel plezier om enkele foto's te zien passeren. Maar goed, even terug naar de kaart. Deze werd gemaakt met een bloemenset van Neat & Tangled, een achtergrond snijmal van Lawn Fawn, een alfabet snijmalset van Whimsy Stamps en de Frames and Flags snijmal van Newton's Nook Design. Alle illustraties werden ingekleurd met Zig Markers en de kleuren werden gebaseerd op de uitnodiging van het koppel.

Hopefully the card will bring a smile to their face! I am very happy that I could send the card. This way we can show our happiness from a distance.                  * Hopelijk brengt het kaartje een glimlach op hun gezicht! Ik ben alvast super blij dat ik het kaartje kon versturen. Zo kunnen we vanop afstand toch onze blijdschap tonen.
