Sympathy and strength

Hello everyone, today I Want to share a card with you I made for a colleague.                       * Hallo allemaal, vandaag wil ik een kaart met jullie delen dat ik voor een collega heb gemaakt.

Inspired by Helga's card, I set to work to convey a loving message for a decedent                       * Geinspireerd door het kaartje van Helga ging ik aan de slag om een liefdevolle boodschap over te brengen voor een overleiden.

I also really liked being able to use my cricut for the tube. I taped the word 'Troost' (= sympathy) to the tube with vinyl and made a mini tag at the top.                       * Ik vond het ook erg leuk om mijn cricut aanvullend te kunnen gebruiken voor het buisje. Ik plakte met Vinyl het woord troost op het buisje en maakte een mini-tag bovenaan.

Hopefully I can give you inspiration, when needed. I think handmade items are super powerful on those moments people need it the most.                       * Hopelijk kan ik jullie hiermee inspiratie geven, wanneer nodig. Want handgemaakte items zijn zo krachtig op momenten dat mensen het het meest nodig hebben.

NND Release: August 2020 - Fall Roundabout, Paw-tumn Newton and Heartfelt Wishes Stamp Set

If yesterday was for the coffee lovers, then today is for the gardeners. Welcome to the second release day from Newton’s Nook Design!                     * Als gisteren vooral voor de koffieliefhebbers was, dan is het vandaag eerder iets voor de tuiniers onder ons. Welkom op de tweede releasedag van Newton's Nook Design!

First of all, we have the "Fall Roundabout" stamp set.                     * Allereerst hebben we de "Fall Roundabout" stempel set.

This set is perfectly sized to fit with the scallop edged circle frame on the Circle Frames Die Set. Thar means it's perfect for creating circle cards or layering a circle onto any card!                     * Deze set heeft het perfecte formaat om de cirkel met kartelrand van de Circle Frames Die Set te passen. Hierdoor is de stempel ideaal om een cirkelkaart of een cirkel-laag aan te brengen op een kaart! 

I like how the circle frame fits a square card. It also fits perfectly into the tree ring stencil.                     * Ik hou ervan hoe de circle frame past een vierkant kaartje. Daarnaast past het ook perfect in de "tree ring" stencil. 

We’re not done for today! We have a super fun fall cat stamp; the "Paw-tumn" Newton Stamp Set.                     * We zijn nog niet klaar voor vandaag! We hebben een superleuke herfstkatten stempel; de "Paw-tumn Newton" Stamp Set.

As always the Newton set is my favorite. I colored the illustrations with ZIG markers (just like the other maps of today).                    * Zoals altijd is de Newton set  mijn favoriet. Ik kleurde de illustraties met ZIG markers (net zoals de andere kaarten van vandaag).

The stamp set fills up the whole card. It's perfect for those who like to color.                    * De stempel set vult heel de kaart op. Het is dus perfect om voor diegene die graag kleuren.

The third product is the handy "Heartfelt Wishes" stamp set.                     * Het derde product is de handige "Heartfelt Wishes" stempelset.

The sentiments on this set are all sized to fit on the die cut banners from the "Banner Trio" die set (not used on this card).                    * De teksten op deze set passen op de banners van de "Banner Trio" snijmal set (niet gebruikt op deze kaart).

There are many words of encouragement appropriate for any difficult moment.                    * Er zitten enorm veel bemoedigende woorden passend voor de moeilijke momenten.

Special Sympathy Card

Hello everyone, in this post I share a sympathy card that I made last week.               * Hallo allemaal, in dit bericht deel ik een rouwkaartje dat ik vorige week maakte.

I just started a new job and someone I just met passed away unexpectedly a few days later.

She died of a stupid accident. Because she was so full of life and my colleagues knew her well, I really wanted to contribute to their loss by making a card.               * Ik ben net  een nieuwe job begonnen en iemand die ik net heb ontmoet overleed aan een stom accident. Omdat ze nog zo vol leven was en mijn collega's ze goed kende wilde ik natuurlijk heel graag een steentje bij dragen aan hun verlies door een kaartje te maken.

Because it was so unexpected, I wanted to offer future prospects through the card. That is why I decided that the flowers (a stamp set from Els Brigé) should be light blue instead of gray. I also found the message fitting to help people in the processing process (it says to stay strong and give love). The placements of all elements were based on a card that I already made in the past; find here the blog post.                * Omdat het zo onverwacht was, wilde ik toekomstperspectief bieden via het kaartje. Daarom besloot ik de bloemen (de stempel set is van Els Brigé) licht blauw in plaats van grauw kleuren. Verder vond ik de boodschap ook erg passen om mensen te helpen in het verwerkingsproces. De plaatsing van alle elementen waren gebaseerd op enkele kaartjes die ik al eens maakte; vind hier de blogpost.

Flowers For Courage

Hello stampers, I hope you all had great winter holidays! I also want to wish all of you a fabulous 2019. Let hope we can craft a lot this year.              * Hallo stempelaars, hopelijk hadden jullie allemaal fijne winter feesten. Graag wens ik jullie ook allemaal een spetterend 2019. Dat we nog veel Mogen knutselen.

 

So long ago I showed a birthday card (find here the original post) with the Ranonkel set from Els Brigé . Today I would like to focus on how I colored the flower.             * Nog niet zo lang geleden liet ik een verjaardagskaart zien (hier vind je de originele post) met de Ranonkel-set van Els Brigé . Vandaag zou ik me willen concentreren op hoe ik de bloem heb ingekleurd.

As you can see on my card above the flower is colored with Zig Water Colour markers. As the name indicates these are that watercolor markers with a brush tip. I like these markers because they give you more control when you water color.             * Zoals je op mijn kaart hierboven kunt zien, is de bloem gekleurd met Zig Water Colour markers. Zoals de naam aangeeft, zijn dit aquarelstiften met een penseelpunten. Ik vind deze stiften heel leuk omdat ze je meer controle geven als je waterverft.

 

Below you can read step by step how I colored these images:             * Hieronder kun je stap voor stap lezen hoe ik deze illustraties inkleurde:

 

1. First I add the darkest color in the corners of all the flower leaves with “no. 095 Dark Grey”.             * 1. Eerst kleiurde ik de donkerste kleur in de hoeken van alle bloemblaadjes "no. 095 Dark Grey"

2. After I colored a few leaves with the darkest color I go slightly over and color further with a little lighter color “no. 093 Green Grey”.             * 2. Nadat ik een paar blaadjes gekleurd heb met de donkerste kleur ga ik een beetje erover met en kleur ik verder met een lichtere kleur “no. 093 Green Grey”.

3. As last I go over the flowerleaves with “no 91. Light Grey”, but I still I leave a little white space so I can go over the colors with a water brush. The water gives more of a watercolor look.             * 3. Allerlaatst ga ik over de bloemblaadjes met “no 91. Light Grey”, maar ik laat nog steeds een beetje wit ruimte zodat ik met een waterpenseelerover kan gaan. Het water geeft een net iets meer een aquarel look. 

I followed the same method for coloring the leaves from the flower, only used other colors (“no. 043 Olive Green” and “no 046 Mid Green”). Eventually you can see the end-result below.              * Ik volgde dezelfde methode om de bladeren van de bloem in te kleuren, gebruikte alleen andere kleuren (“nr. 043 Olive Green” en “no 046 Mid Green”). Uiteindelijk zie je hier het eindresultaat

The layout of the card was based on an older card that I already showed here (you can read this blog post again by clicking here). I hardly changed anything about the card itself.             * De layout van het kaartje was gebaseerd op een ouder kaartje dat ik hier al toonde (Je kan de blogpost nog eens lezen door hier te klikken). Ik wijzigde nauwelijks iets aan het kaartje zelf.

Colorful Sympathy Card

Hello everyone, I hope you enjoyed the release. Today I have something totally different to publish on my blog. This card is made with the Whimsy Stamps products.               * Hallo iedereen, hopelijk hebben jullie genoten van de release. Vandaag publiceer ik totaal iets anders op mijn blog. Deze kaart is gemaakt met de producten van Whimsy Stamps.

The sympathy card is more colorful and energetic is totally something else  than normal sympathy cards. I just wanted to give a boost for the person that gets this card.               * Het kaartje voor mijn innige deelneming te wensen is meer kleurrijk en energiek dan normale kaartjes. Ik wilde gewoon een enorme boost geven aan de persoon die dit ontvangt.

The sentiment was cut out with the "Word Die Set" die and did go over it with glossy accents. The little phrases from the "Hand Letter Thoughts" stamp set where perfect to finish a nice message.               * Het grote woord is uitgesneden met een van de "Word Die Set" stansen en hier ging ik over met glossy accents. De kleine zinnen van de "Hand Letter Thoughts" stempel set zijn perfect om een mooi berichtje te sturen.

The butterfly stencil is so pretty and fits perfect for the theme. The butterfly die with the enamel heart made the card a little more interesting.               * De vlinder sjabloon is perfect en passen perfect bij het thema. De vlinder stans en het hartje maken de kaart een beetje interessanter.
