NND Release - August day 1: Franken-Newton stamps & dies, Halloween Meows & Halloween Woofs Paper Pad and Jack-o’-lantern Stencil Set

Hello everyone and welcome to day one of the August 2022 release previews from Newton's Nook Designs! Today’s preview features one new stencil set, a clear stamp Set (with matching dies) and two new paper pads…                       * Hallo allemaal en welkom bij dag één van de releasepreviews van augustus 2022 van Newton's Nook Designs! First we have the "Jack-o’-lantern" stencil set.                       * Allereerst hebben we de "Jack-o’-lantern" stencil set.

This layered stencil design has three pieces that help you create multi-colored pumpkins easily. you can stop at the 2nd layer to get pumpkins without the faces or you can use the faces on top so you get an awesome design to create an Halloween card.                       * Dit gelaagde stencilontwerp heeft drie stukken waarmee je gemakkelijk veelkleurige pompoenen kunt maken. je kunt stoppen bij de 2e laag om pompoenen zonder de gezichten te krijgen of je kunt de gezichten er bovenop gebruiken, zodat je een geweldig ontwerp krijgt om een ​​Halloween-kaart te maken.

Next we have a Halloween stamp and dies set.                       * Vervolgens hebben we een Halloween-stempel en stansset.

This new set is the Franken-Newton set.                        * Dit is de nieuwe Franken-Newton set.

I created this card by coloring a lot of the elements from the set with the ZIG Clean Color Real Brushes. Layed it on top of pattern papers from the new paper set.                       * Deze kaart heb ik gemaakt door veel van de elementen uit de set in te kleuren met de ZIG Clean Color Real Brushes. Legde het op patroonpapier uit de nieuwe papierset.

Last but not least we got two new paper pads to show today.                       * Last but not least hebben we vandaag twee nieuwe paperpads gekregen om te laten zien.

NND Release: August 2020 - Batty Newton and Spooky Roundabout Stamp Set

Welcome back to day 3 of the Newton's Nook Design release. We go a bit further in the fall theme of yesterday.                     * Welkom terug op dag 3 van de Newton's Nook Design release. We gaan wat verder in het herfstthema van gisteren.

Let’s start with this purrfect set; Batty Newton.                     * Laten we beginnen met deze purrfect set; Batty Newton.

Every year I look forward to the new Halloween sets. I am not disappointed this year either.                     * Elk jaar kijk ik uit naar de nieuwe Halloween sets. Ook dit jaar ben ik niet teleurgesteld.

This image is also suitable for adding details. Again a nice coloring page.                     * Ook deze afbeelding leent zich er voor om details aan te brengen. Opnieuw een leuke kleurplaat.

To get even more in the Halloween theme, we got this "Spooky Roundabout" stamp set.                     * Om ons nog meer in het Halloween-thema te verdiepen, is er deze "Spooky Roundabout" -stempelset.

The large circle image will fit inside the largest scalloped circle die from the Circle Frames Die Set. All of the words on this set will fit inside the banners from the Banner Trio Die Set.                     * De afbeelding met de grote cirkel past in de grootste geschulpte cirkelstans uit de "Circle Frames" snijmal set. Alle woorden op deze set passen in de banners van de "Banner Trio" snijmal set.

I made a shaker card with the two largest dies from the "Circle Frames" die set. I decided to stamp the illistrations on the transparent, to make the shaker more interesting. The colors that appear behind the ghosts look super nice.                     * Ik maakte met de twee grootste snijmallen van de "Circle Frames" snijmal set een shaker kaart. Ik besloot om de illustraties op de transparant te stempelen, om de shaker interessanter te maken. De kleuren die achter de poken te vevoorschijnkomen zien er super leuk uit.

NND Release: August 2020 - Sips & Stories Stamps and dies + Mugs Stencils

 

Welcome to the August Release from Newton's Nook Design! The whole week their are blogposts with the design team to share the new products and inspiration.                     * Welkom bij de augustus release van Newton's Nook Design! De hele week zijn er blogposts van het ontwerpteam om de nieuwe producten en inspiratie te delen.

Let's dive right into the first stamp set called "Sips & Stories".                     * Laten we er in vliegen de eerste stempelset noemt "Sips & Stories".

I really like this stamp set! I work in a psychiatric center. In addition to guiding people to leisure/ finding a hobby for them,... we also have a library that helps us to communicate with many people. This set is therefore ideal for thanking volunteers.                     * Deze stempel set vind ik super fijn! Ik werk als vrijetijdsmedewerker in een psychiatrisch centrum. Buiten de personen toe te leiden naar de vrijetijd, hebben wij ook een bibliotheek die ons helpt om contact te hebben met vele personen. Deze set is dus ideaal om vrijwilligers te bedanken.

I made a slimline card perfect for a booklover/reader.                      * Ik heb een slimline kaart gemaakt die perfect is voor een boekenworm.

Next to that we also have the 'Mugs' stencil.                     * Daarnaast hebben we ook de 'Mugs' stencil.

Of course I used the stencil on this card. I kept it simple by making a background with Distress ink. You can make even more elegant pieces by using glitter gel or foil!                      * Natuurlijk gebruikte ik het sjabloon op deze kaart. Ik hield het simpel door een achtergrond met Distress inkt van de te maken. Je kan natuurlijk nog elegantere werkjes met maken door het gebruik van glitter gel of foil!

The remaining illustrations from the stamp set 'Sip & Stories' were given a place on this card.                      * De overgebleven illustraties van de stempel set 'Sip & Stories' kregen een plaatsje op de kaart.

Triadic Colors On The Color Wheel

Hello, crafty friends! I'm here with a bright lemon card made for Newton's Nook Design. The colors on the card match perfect because of the color wheel.                  * Hallo, creatievelingen! Ik ben hier met een heldere citroen kaart gemaakt voor Newton's Nook Design. De kleuren op de kaart passen perfect bij elkaar door het kleurenwiel.

A color wheel is handy an essential tool for crafters. By organizing the colors in a circle, the wheel shows you what the relationship between different colors is, what the effect of mixing colors will be and which colors combine well with each other.                  * Een kleurenwiel is een handig en essentieel hulpmiddel voor creatieveling. Door de kleuren in een cirkel te ordenen, laat het wiel zien wat de relatie is tussen verschillende kleuren, wat het effect is bij het mengen van bepaalde kleuren en welke kleuren goed bij elkaar passen.

Today I look at the Triadic colors. Those are three colors that are equally spread over the color wheel. These create a lively visual interest. It is therefore ideal to make a card with the correct contrast colors. Some palettes are brighter, while others are more refined.                  * Vandaag kijk ik naar de Triadische kleuren. Dat zijn drie kleuren die gelijkmatig over het kleurenwiel zijn verdeeld. Deze creëren een levendige visuele interesse. Het is daarom ideaal om een ​​kaart te maken met de juiste contrastkleuren. Sommige paletten zijn helderder, andere zijn verfijnder.

Of course I colored the lemons yellow. The other two triadic colors are red and blue. You can of course also make adjustments by adding a lighter shade or some darker shade instead of sticking to the real color from the wheel. I did that with the blue color; I made it much lighter. I would never combine these colors myself. I think the card looks beautiful now.                  * Natuurlijk heb ik de citroenen geel gekleurd. De twee bijhorende triadische kleuren zijn rood en blauw. Je kan natuurlijk ook aanpassingen maken door een lichtere tint of een donkere tint toe te voegen in plaats van vast te houden aan de huidige kleur op het wiel. Dat deed ik dan ook met de blauwe kleur; Ik maakte die veel lichter. Ik zou deze kleuren nooit zelf combineren, maar ik vind de kaart echt prachtig nu!
